All international flights resumed after two years in India, 60 airlines from 40 countries got approval to operate 1,783 flights.
India resumed international flights facing restrictions due to the Covid epidemic from Sunday. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation issued an order in this regard.

During the Summer Program 2022, a total of 60 foreign airlines from 40 countries including Mauritius, Malaysia, Thailand, Turkey, the USA, and Iraq have been approved for 1,783 flights to and from India.
Flights were suspended in 2020.
Some airlines are also going to start operating their flights in India, these include India Salaam Air, Air Arabia Abu Dhabi, and American Airlines.
Indian airline IndiGo said it will resume scheduled international flights on over 150 routes in a phased manner during the coming month.
