Amritpal Singh: Fugitive Amritpal stayed in Ludhiana for 50 minutes, changed two autos, and caught a bus from Sherpur Chowk.
Amritpal Singh, president of the Waris Punjab De organization, is still absconding. Police are conducting raids to nab him. He is constantly trying to escape from the police by changing his disguise.
At the same time, now again Amritpal Singh and his companion stayed in Ludhiana for about 50 minutes on the night of 18 March.
Police have checked many CCTV cameras in the city and its video footage has come to the fore.
Absconded again by changing two autos.
Investigation so far has revealed that he was in Ludhiana from 9.20 am to 10.10 am. The police have also traced the auto drivers whose auto he used.
He had given Rs 40 to the first auto from Hardy Word to Jalandhar Bypass. On the other hand, fugitive Amritpal had given Rs 220 to another auto from Jalandhar Road to Sherpur Chowk to SPS Hospital.
Both Amritpal and his companion were in pant shirts and had taken a bus from Sherpur.
According to the police, Amritpal Singh had used the century-old railway bridge of Ladowal. After this, he came on the road and from there he traveled in an auto.
The surprising thing is that on Saturday there was an alert in the entire Punjab and he entered Ludhiana from Jalandhar and also escaped from there. He used public transport.
While the police kept checking private vehicles. His escape from the city in this way is said to be a big failure for the Commissionerate Police.
Illegal buses run daily from Sherpur Chowk.
About a dozen buses ply from Sherpur Chowk in the city without permits. In which passengers going to Delhi and beyond travel.
These buses are the buses of tourist companies, which can be booked from one place and taken from one place to another only by paying road tax once.
But these buses break all kinds of laws and pick up passengers from the routes. These illegal buses prove to be helpful not only for Amritpal but also for other accused.
