Andhra Tourism Minister files complaint with police after audio clip goes viral, says this clip is fake.

An audio clip of  Andhra Pradesh Tourism Minister Muttamsetty Srinivasa Rao talking on the telephone with a woman went viral on social media on Thursday.

However, the minister has denied any such thing happened over the phone. He said that the voice was not his.

He has lodged a complaint with the Visakhapatnam city police to uncover the ‘conspiracy’ behind the incident.

In the audio clip with the purported voice of the minister, the woman can be heard saying that it would be difficult to come alone as her husband would be with her.

As the audio went viral, Avanti Srinivasa Rao alleged that the audio is fake. Talking to the media, he said, ‘This is a deliberate attempt to malign my image.

This has bothered me a lot and I have filed a complaint with the Commissioner of Police.

Srinivasa Rao alleged that the conspiracy was hatched by those who were unable to digest his political development as well as the development of the party.

“Some people want to harass me by making cheap allegations and the conspirators will be exposed soon,” the minister said.

He claimed that I am only telling the truth and this is not liked by some people. So, they conspired against me.

The minister said that he is getting many calls on this and hoped that the police will take prompt action. He said that this is an attempt to suppress the development of the common man in public life.

Under the chairmanship of Chief Justice NV Ramana, six additional judges of the Karnataka High Court became permanent.

The SC Collegium has approved the proposal for the appointment of six additional judges of the Karnataka High Court as permanent judges and six judicial officers as judges in the Telangana HC.

The proposal was approved in a meeting of the collegium chaired by Chief Justice NV Ramana on Tuesday and a statement to this effect was uploaded on the apex court’s website on Thursday.
