Arms and ammunition recovered from two youths during a search in Lower Munda of Qazigund: Jammu Kashmir.
Security forces on Saturday evening recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition from two youths during a search at a place called Qazigund on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.
The youths have been arrested. According to the information, the security forces searched the vehicle at a place called Lower Munda of Qazigund in Kulgam district under the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.
During this, they have recovered 2 AK 56 rifles, 10 pistols, 8 AK magazines, 18 pistol magazines, 9 grenades and other items during the search from vehicle number JK02B-0949.
Arms and ammunition recovered: The security forces immediately arrested both the youths. The police of Kulgam district also arrived on the spot.
A case has been registered against both of them and investigation has been started. The youths have been identified as Maharaj Ahmed Butt and Zahid Nabi Dar, residents of Sambura area of Pampore in south Kashmir.
There is also a possibility that both of them work as over ground workers for some terrorist organization and were going to provide weapons to the terrorists.
However, various investigative agencies have gathered to interrogate these two youths and it is possible that both these youths will make some big disclosures during the investigation.

In time, the IED-like suspicious object of the security forces and police personnel was noticed.
The Bomb Disposal Squad has averted a major tragedy in the area by deactivating it in time. Now traffic has also been restored in the area.
Meanwhile, in Kupwara, North Kashmir, on Friday, an army personnel died due to a collision with a Casper vehicle.
According to the information received, a Casper vehicle of the army personnel was damaged in Jangli area in Kupwara district. He was parked on a stretch of road with his handbrake and was being examined.
Behind it stood another Casper vehicle. Sepoy Bhupathi S was standing in the open space between the two Casper vehicles.
Suddenly the bad Casper missed the handbrake and he started walking backwards. Due to his collision, Sepoy Bhupit S collided with another Casper vehicle.
He got badly crushed between the two vehicles. Other army personnel present there somehow pulled him out of there but he was badly injured.
He was taken to the nearby Military Hospital for treatment, where he passed away shortly after. He was a resident of Tamil Nadu.
