Army Chief General MM Narwane In Lucknow

Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Narwane arrives in Lucknow, meets retired military officers. Indian Army Chief General MM Narwane reached Lucknow on Thursday night.

On the first day of his two-day visit, General MM Narwane attended a function held at the Surya Officers Institute.

Here, along with many military officers retired from the army, they met ex-servicemen and discussed welfare schemes.

He also discussed with the senior officers of the Central Command Headquarters about the modernity of the training of the jawans.

Air Marshal Amit Tiwari, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Central Air Command, arrived in Lucknow on Thursday evening, just an hour before the arrival of Chief of Army Staff General Manoj Mukund Narwane to Lucknow.

It is believed that there will be a meeting between the two top officials on the formation of the theater command on Friday. The Middle Theater Command will be established in Prayagraj.

However, according to top officials of the Air Force officials, Air Marshal Amit Tiwari has come from Gorakhpur to Bakshi Ka Talab Air Force Station by special aircraft.

The squadron of MiG-21 will be inspected here and at Memoura Air Force Station.

Along with General IS Ghuman, he attended the grand function of retired military officers held at Surya Officers Institute. The Chief of Army Staff will go to the Central Command Headquarters on Friday.

At Central Command Headquarters he will take stock of operational preparations, training of jawans, the state of Uttarakhand border with India-China, progress of welfare schemes including Command Hospital.

Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Narwane may also meet Air Marshal Amit Tiwari. Air Marshal Tiwari is expected to discuss the study to set up the Central Theater Command.
