Army chief said, now the need to create theater command in the country, this will increase the fighting capability of the three armies.

After the appointment of the Chiefs of the three Services (CDS), a coordinated theater command is now needed to make the security of the country effective. Steps should be taken in this direction soon.

This will enable the three armies to work in better coordination between war and peace. General MM Narwane has said this. It is noteworthy that China has established a theater command system by implementing military reforms.

General Narwane at Secunderabad-based College of Defense Management said, “In a strong army of 13 lakh soldiers, everyone needs to work together and act in the national interest with a sense of trust.”

The security of the nation is of paramount importance to the military. Said, he is looking forward to working with the three armies in the future. This will establish better synergy between the three armies and lead to better results.

It is believed by the Army Chief’s statement that the three forces are now considering new ways of fighting together. In the face of new challenges, the Army is seriously thinking about options to increase its combat capability.

General Narwane, in his address, spoke many things about national unity and integrity, modernization of the army, and implementation of the theater system. He said, there was a very old demand of the armies to appoint CDS.

This has greatly helped in enhancing our capabilities and strategizing. The move to appoint CDS is a very sensible decision in the national interest.

After this, the theater command system has to be implemented in the security system. Its establishment may take many years.

But its establishment will greatly strengthen the security system of the country. The ability of the three armies to fight together will increase.

It is noteworthy that the current central government has implemented the CDS system and under this decision, General Bipin Rawat was appointed as the first CDS on December 31, 2019.

The Army Chief said these things while visiting the College of Defense Management and Bison Division in Secunderabad, Telangana.
