Army Chief took stock of the preparations in the Ladakh, said – the enthusiasm of the soldiers is high; We are prepare for every challenge. Army Chief General MM Narwane is on a two-day visit to Ladakh amid renewed tensions with China. During this, he reviewed the preparations of the army.

The army chief said that we have taken some precautionary measures for our safety. The moral of the soldiers is high and they are ready to meet all the challenges. Negotiations are continuing with China at diplomatic and military levels.

This dispute can be resolved through negotiation. Explain that the situation is tense due to failed attempts by China to unilaterally change the status quo on the southern shore of Pangong Lake. Given the antics of China, India has increased the deployment of additional forces and weapons in the region.

The situation on LAC is critical and critical

The army chief said that I spoke to officers at different places and took stock of the situation. The morale of the soldiers is very high, they are ready to face every challenge. He said that the situation on LAC right now is delicate and serious, but we are constantly thinking about it. For our safety, we have taken some precautionary steps. I hope that we will maintain our security with the deployment we have made.

India increased its presence at strategic locations

On Monday, the Indian Army reported that the Chinese Army carried out ‘provocative military activities’ on the night of 29-30 August in a ‘unilateral’ attempt to change the status quo on the southern shore of Pangong Lake. But Indian troops foiled China’s efforts.

After this incident, the Indian Army has increased its presence at least three high strategic bases on the southern shore of Pangong Lake. Sources said the deployment of troops as a precautionary measure has also been done on the northern side of Pangong Lake in the Indian territory adjoining the LAC.

The latest situation on the border is due to China’s ‘antics’

Meanwhile, India on Thursday clearly stated that the situation in East Ladakh is a direct result of unilateral efforts by China to change the status quo in the last four months. External Affairs Ministry spokesman Anurag Shrivastava said that India is committed to resolving all issues through negotiations.

Earlier on Tuesday, Srivastava said that a day before the talks between the commanders of the two countries, the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) of China again took ‘provocative action’.
