Arnab Goswami said: He was beaten in Jail and Life is in Danger: Arnab Goswami Arrest. The editor-in-chief of the Republic Media Network, Arnab Goswami alleges that he has a life threat from police.

He has accused the Mumbai police of beating him. Arnab was arrested by the police on November 4 in a two-year-old case of abetment to suicide.

Arnab alleged that he and his family were attacked by the police even during the arrest. This resulted in a six-inch wound on his left arm and serious injury to his spine as well.

By the way, Arnab’s trouble does not seem to be diminishing. Arnab Goswami could not get bail on Saturday from Bombay High Court.

After hearing all the sides, the Bombay High Court reserved the verdict. The bench, which is hearing, said that it will give its verdict soon after consulting the Chief Justice of the High Court.

The High Court states that in the meantime all parties are free to move to the Sessions Court.

Even after the hearing began on Saturday, the bench warned all the parties that if the debate is not completed today, the matter could be stuck till November 23 due to the Diwali holidays.

However, the Diwali holiday in the High Court starts on Monday. But, since the debate is over, it is believed that the bench, after consulting the Chief Justice, will give its verdict before Diwali.

Meanwhile, Alibag Police has challenged the order of Raigad Chief Judicial Magistrate in the Sessions Court, which sent Arnab to judicial custody till 18 November.

The matter is also scheduled to be heard on Monday. Arnab’s lawyers have been continuously alleging in the High Court that the state government is misusing its powers.

Maharashtra government is harassing Arnab for exposing the shortcomings of the government and raising questions against the government.
