Attacker targets security forces in Pakistan, 19 people injured in a suicide blast. A suicide blast rocked the restive tribal district of northwest Pakistan bordering Afghanistan on Saturday.
The attacker targeted a convoy of Pakistani security forces with an explosives-laden motorcycle, seriously injuring at least 19 members.

BDS (bomb disposal squad) in-charge Inayatullah Tiger said the convoy of security forces was on its way from DI Khan in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province to the Asman Manja area of South Waziristan when a suicide bomber attacked them.
The condition of two members of the security forces is said to be critical, he added.

The in-charge of the bomb disposal squad said that the entire area has been cordoned off after the attack and Pakistan’s law-enforcement agencies have started an investigation into the attack.
However, no one has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.

There was also an explosion in North Waziristan.
Earlier on Wednesday, a suicide bomber rammed an explosives-laden car at a security checkpoint in the Datta sports market in North Waziristan in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, killing four people.
A Taliban suicide bomber blew himself up during afternoon prayers at a mosque in Peshawar on January 30, killing 101 people and wounding more than 200 others.
