Bangladesh And Indian Navies To Conduct Military Exercises
Bangladesh and Indian navies to conduct military exercises in the Bay of Bengal amid tension from China from today. The navies of India and Bangladesh are starting a two-day joint military exercise in the Bay of Bengal from Saturday amidst ongoing tension from China.
Both navies will focus on patrolling and mutual coordination. An Indian Navy spokesman said that various aspects of naval exercises would be examined during the Bangosagar expedition. Such an initiative (military exercise) between the two countries has started in October last year.
Ships of both navies will try their hand at combat activities during this period. Helicopter operations will also be carried out. He said that on four and five October, both the navies would be patrolling in the North Bengal Bay in full coordination.
During this time, Indian Navy anti-submarine munitions and guided missiles have been deployed. The capabilities of the Bangladeshi Navy missile Abu Bakr and Kovit Porote will also be tested during military exercises.
The navies of the two countries will test through ships, planes for patrolling, and helicopters. The Indian Navy has conducted military exercises with the navies of several countries in recent times.
Navies of India and Japan also practiced between 26-28 September last. This military exercise is also taking place at a time when the border with China remains tight. The forces of China and India have camped on the LAC.
Recently, the Indian Navy conducted separate military exercises with Russia and the Quad countries in the Indo-Pacific Ocean region. On Monday, the naval exercises of India and Japan in the North Arabian Sea came to an end.
The navies of both countries tried vigorously for three days from 26 September to 28 September. Recently the Indian and Australian navies conducted a two-day joint exercise in the Indian Ocean. In practice, both armies landed with a full range of anti-aircraft drills and helicopter operations.
