The farmers of Punjab-Haryana are organizing a ‘Delhi Chalo’ march in protest against the central agrarian reform laws.

Security has been tightened at the Delhi-Haryana border in view of this demonstration. The drone is being used for monitoring here. Ambala – Demonstration raged on the Patiala border.

The farmers tried to move forward by breaking barricades. The police used water cannon and tear gas on the farmers. He is traveling towards Delhi with ration-water.

At the same time, central unions have called a nationwide bandh against labor reforms. The protesters blocked the railway track in West Bengal. The impact of this bandh has also been seen in Odisha and Kerala.

Bharat Bandh and Farmers Protest

According to the leading news agency, farmers are coming from Fatehgarh Sahib towards Delhi to protest against the agricultural laws.

A protestor said that we are traveling to Delhi, if stopped there, everyone will block the roads. We have 4-5 months of luggage. More than a thousand trolleys are going.

Police used water cannons on the Shambhu border near Ambala to disperse the farmers who were traveling towards Delhi. Farmers are coming to Delhi to protest against agricultural laws.

Farmers of Fatehgarh Sahib in Punjab are moving towards Delhi in protest against the agricultural laws passed by the central government.

Delhi Metro will not go to NCR till 2 pm

Sub-Inspector Prithviraj Meena told the news agency on Thursday that we are checking every vehicle passing through here. Home Guard personnel are stationed here. Senior officials are circling.

We are ready to deal with any situation. No farmers have come here yet. If the farmers come here, we will try to negotiate with them. Barricading has been done at four to five places along the Delhi-Faridabad border.

Meanwhile, Delhi Metro will not go to Delhi Metro NCR till 2 pm on Thursday. During this time, metro services from Delhi to Noida, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, and Gurugram will remain closed.

Bus service in Kochi city of Kerala has been disrupted due to a nationwide bandh against labor reforms. Markets are also closed here.

In Bhubaneswar, members of the Odisha Nirvana Shramik Federation, All India Central Council of Trade Unions, and All Orissa Petrol and Diesel Pump Workers Association staged a sit-in.
