Apart from this, people with allergies, fever, bleeding disorders are advised not to take the vaccine.

Apart from this, patients with severe health-related issues have also been advised not to get vaccinated. In the factsheet posted on its website, the vaccine manufacturer said that the trial of the vaccine is in the third phase and its efficacy is not yet fully proven.

The clinical trial data for the third phase is under study. The company has also said that the introduction of a vaccine does not mean that the necessary precautions to be taken after the corona is abandoned.

In the factsheet, the company has asked people to inform the vaccinator or vaccination officer about their medical condition before getting the vaccine.

Bharat Biotech said that ongoing clinical trials have found that Covaxine probduces immunity after two doses given in four weeks.

Covacine is a fully indigenous vaccine in India, developed in collaboration with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and the National Institute of Virology (NIV).

The vaccine has been developed and manufactured in Bharat Biotech’s BSL-3 (Bio-Safety Level 3) Bio Containment Facility.
