Bilal Used Altaf Ahmed As Human Shield In Hyderpora Encounter

Bilal used Altaf Ahmed as a human shield in the Hyderpora encounter. Bilal, a foreign terrorist killed in the Hyderpora encounter, used Altaf Ahmed as a human shield.

The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Tuesday claimed that Bilal, a foreign terrorist killed in the Hyderpora encounter, used Altaf Ahmed of the shopping complex as a human shield.

The Pakistani terrorist had made his hideout in the rooms rented by Dr. Mudassar Gul. Aamir Magre, who worked with Dr. Gul, was also a terrorist.

Dr. Mudassar Gul was fully aware of Aamir and Bilal being terrorists, he used to work for them as an overground worker.

The Home Department of Jammu and Kashmir has confirmed receiving the investigation report of the Hyderpora encounter.

It is to be known that an encounter took place between the security forces and terrorists on the intervening night of 15 and 16 November in Hyderpora, Srinagar.

Four people including a Pakistani terrorist were killed in this. Apart from the terrorist, the other three others were killed.

The family members of Amir Magre, Dr. Mudassar Gul, and Altaf Ahmed blamed the police for their death and called them as human rights activists.

They were alleging that all three were killed in a fake encounter, while the police were denying these allegations.

Seeing the matter gaining momentum, the police had constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate the entire matter. Apart from this, orders for the magisterial inquiry were also issued.

The Home Department of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, while confirming the receipt of the inquiry report into the Hyderpora encounter, said that it has been sent to the concerned Judicial Magistrate for further action.

According to the Home Department, there was a clash between security forces and terrorists in Hyderpora on the midnight of 15 November.

Additional District Magistrate Srinagar was assigned the task of investigation to ascertain all the elements of the encounter. The state government has received the inquiry report.

The District Magistrate, Srinagar has been requested to send the report under Section 190 of the Criminal Procedure 1973 to the Judicial Magistrate.
