Border Tension: 10th Round Of Talks Between India-China Soon

Border Tension: 10th round of talks between India-China military commanders to be held soon, border dispute will be resolved.

India and China have agreed to hold the 10th round of commander-level talks soon (India-China 10th round) to advance the withdrawal process of troops in Ladakh.

In the 9th round of military-level talks held last week on the border standoff, India and China had agreed to expedite the process of early withdrawal of troops and to make effective efforts to control and stabilize the situation in the eastern Ladakh region.

Citing the joint statement of the previous round of talks, External Affairs Ministry spokesman Anurag Shrivastava said during the press conference, “It was said that both sides agreed to abide by the important consensus of the leaders of the respective countries and maintain the pace of the dialogue. ‘

Border Tension: The 9th round of talks lasted for 15 hours

The talks between India and China for the 9th round of Commander level (India China 9th round Talk) lasted for more than 15 hours on 25 January.

The meeting was attended by 14 Corps Commander Lt. Gen. PGK Menon from the Indian side and Major General Liu Lin, Southern Xinjiang Military Region Commander from the Chinese side.

Earlier, in the eighth round of talks held on November 6, the two sides discussed extensively the withdrawal of troops from particular places of confrontation.

The Indian delegation is led by Lieutenant General PGK Menon, the commander of the 14th Corps at Leh. India has been consistently saying that it is the responsibility of China to carry forward the process of withdrawing troops from all the conflict areas in the mountainous region and reduce the tension.

Border Tension: There was no concrete result in the previous talks

According to officials, China has also deployed an equal number of troops. Last month, India and China held another round of diplomatic talks under the ‘Executive Mechanism for Consultation and Coordination’ (WMCC) framework on the Indo-China border matters, but the talks did not yield any concrete results.
