Breaking News: Bomb attack on a police vehicle in Pakistan’s Quetta. Bomb attack on a police vehicle in Pakistan’s Quetta, 21 people including 15 police officers injured.

A police vehicle was attacked with a bomb in Pakistan’s southwestern city of Quetta on Wednesday. More than 20 people were injured in the bomb blast targeting the police patrol.

Giving more details of the incident, police officer Abdul Haq told the news agency that a police patrol was targeted in a bomb blast.

A total of 21 people including 15 police officers were injured in this. He also informed the media that the injured have been taken to the Civil Hospital in Quetta.

He said that the area has been cordoned off and an investigation has been started. According to the initial information, the police were on duty to protect the vaccination team.

Chief Minister condemned the attack.

Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo condemned the attack and directed the authorities to provide better treatment facilities to the injured.

Strict punishment will be given to those involved in the incident: Chief Minister.

He also promised that such cowardly acts will not dampen the determination of Balochistan to establish peace.

Bizenjo said that all elements involved in the incident would be brought to the book and punished severely.

Religious extremists desecrate the graves of the Ahmadi community in Pakistan.

Religious extremists have allegedly desecrated several graves of Ahmadis in Pakistan’s Punjab province. A spokesperson of the minority community gave this information on Tuesday.

Jamaat Ahmadiyya Pakistan official Aamir Mehmood told that gravestones were damaged at the Prem Kot cemetery in Hafizabad district, about 100 km from Lahore.

He said that people who vandalized the graves also wrote “Ahmadi dog” on them which is extremely painful for the families. “The Ahmadis living in Pakistan are not at peace even after their death,” he said.
