In view of the tension with China in Ladakh, the Border Roads Organization has started using new machinery to provide an around-the-clock route to the Indian Army. For the security forces, the Border Roads Organization is leaving no stone unturned to ensure the supply of weapons other than heavy machines. This work continues day and night.

All roads are being made accessible to the army. The roads of the organization are engaged day and night to open the roads which are potholes and closed due to landslides. According to BRO officials, modern machines have been brought in which can cut roads and make way for frequent blasts.

These machines are worth crores of rupees. Not only this, but the BRO employees and workers have also been asked to work in dual shifts on Saturday and Sunday. With this, the number of workers is also being increased in the entire region. These steps are being taken in view of the current situation. The BRO is also keeping in mind the winter season starting in a few months.

To remove snow on the roads, large machines are also being deployed in the entire area. BRO’s Executive Engineer Officer Commanding B Kishan said that such machines have been brought which are not available in any part of the country.

It is the machines that will reduce human hazards and explosions will be used to cut mountains. With these machines, our working speed will increase ten times and with ease, we will be able to make roads faster in view of the present situation.
