The team returned after gathering many important pieces of evidence related to the case.
CBI raid in Chandigarh for three hours: This is the second raid after a case was registered against the directors of the pharmaceutical company on charges of cheating.
Earlier on December 31, 2021, raids were conducted on 12 premises of the pharmaceutical company located in Chandigarh, Panchkula, Ludhiana, Faridabad, and Delhi.
Then the CBI had searched the locations of the directors of the company. Around Rs 1,58,96,000 in cash and documents were recovered during this period. The investigation in the matter is still on.
According to CBI sources, the team has registered a case of cheating against the Managing Director, other directors, guarantors, and unknown public servants/private persons of Chandigarh-based Parabolic Drugs Limited Company on the complaint of the Central Bank of India and other member banks. has done.
In this case, about Rs, 1626.74 crores have been paid from the banks. It is alleged that the said private company does the business of medicine.
It is alleged that the accused took advantage of the loan amount through forged documents and then diverted it.

Earlier, he snatched the rifle from the security guard posted in the bank. The robbers have also taken the DVRs of CCTV cameras installed in the bank while going.
Around two o’clock in the afternoon, four robbers entered the Bank of Baroda one by one. The robbers first snatched the rifle of the guard of the bank.
After which the cashier looted the cash by placing a pistol on Gurpreet Singh’s forehead. During the time of about one and a half minutes, the four robbers escaped after carrying out the robbery.
However, there is no confirmation about how much cash the robbers looted. Bank officials are also not ready to give any information in this regard.
DSP Mahinderpal Singh and SHO Inspector Lakhbir Singh reached the spot and got the blockade done in the area, but there was no trace of the robbers.
SSP Harvinder Singh Virk says that action is being taken by the police to identify the robbers.
