Charges against Telangana Congress MP in note exchange for votes. The special anti-corruption court has framed charges against Congress MP Revanth Reddy in the case of note exchange for votes.
The charges were framed against Revanth Reddy and two others on Tuesday. This case came to light in 2015.
A senior official of the Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) said the court had framed charges against Reddy and two others.
Now the trial will go against these people. The court will list the date of the hearing. The next hearing, in this case, will be on 19 February.
The officer said that the statements of witnesses will be recorded after the list of dates for the hearing is released.
Let us know that on 31 May 2015, Reddy was caught by the ACB while giving a bribe of 50 lakh rupees to the nominated MLA Elvis Stephenson.
Reddy was then in the Telugu Desam Party (TDP). Reddy was accused of bribing Stephenson to vote in favor of a TDP candidate in the June 1, 2015, Legislative Council election.
103 people corona positive in a building in Bengaluru, mostly over 60
