Chhattisgarh police will use drones to locate Naxals. Now it will not be easy for the Naxalites to hide even in the dense forests of Chhattisgarh, police drones took over the front.
It will not be easy for the Naxalites to hide even in the dense forest areas of Chhattisgarh because the police drone will now find them.
In fact, the central government has recently given permission to fly drones at a height of 400 feet above the ground in 166 green areas of the country. It also includes Chhattisgarh.
Permission granted to fly a drone at a height of 400 feet above the ground.
According to police officials, the force is already using drones in Bastar, but earlier it was allowed to fly drones only in the forest area, that too only up to a height of 200 feet.
Drones were not allowed to fly in the dense forest area, but now drones can be flown here too, that too up to a height of 400 feet.
Naxalites limited in the districts of Bastar.
According to a police officer associated with the Anti-Naxal Operations (ANO), the range of Naxalites has been reduced in most of the districts of the Bastar division.
Now only remote and densely forested areas are left for them to hide. The Naxalites also resort to the forest to attack the force and to avoid them.
Now it is easy to surround the Naxalites in their den.
With the permission to fly drones in the forest areas, it will be easier for the security forces to surround the Naxalites in their den. Meanwhile, the state police have floated tenders for procuring 14 high-quality drones.
The drone will be safe due to an increase in altitude.
The official said that in the Naxal-affected areas, the force was currently allowed to fly drones at a maximum height of two hundred feet.
At this altitude, it was difficult to hide the drone from the enemy, but flying at an altitude of 400 feet, the sound of the drone would be less heard and it would also stay away from enemy targets.
Flight information will have to be given through a portal or app.
The police official said that for drones to fly in the newly approved green areas, only the time and location of the flights will have to be informed to the Ministry of Civil Aviation through the digital sky portal or app.
The 166 new areas in which the ministry has given permission to fly include places in Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh,.
Maharashtra, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, and Uttar Pradesh along with Chhattisgarh.
