Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan Will Inaugurate The Digital Hub

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate the digital hub in Kochi today, aiming to promote the technology.

Digital Hub will be inaugurated today in Kochi, Kerala. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan himself will inaugurate the hub prepared by the Kerala Startup Mission.

The purpose of which is to promote the technology. It also aims to host a vibrant ecosystem, which includes Incubators, Accelerators, and Centers of Excellence.

Emerging technology will be launched in Kerala Technology Innovation Zone (KTIZ) through video conferencing.

The Hub will be a destination for designing and prototyping and will be open to institutions including international organizations to mold world-class products.

The Law Minister will preside over the opening ceremony while Member of Parliament Hibi Eden will deliver the felicitation speech.

Other speakers will be Chief Secretary Dr. VP Jay and Infosys Co-Founder Kris Gopalakrishnan, Kalamassery Nagar President Seema Kannan, and Vice President Salma Abubakar.

Vishwanath Sinha, Principal Secretary, Electronics and IT, will deliver the welcome address while Jan M Thomas, CEO, KSUM will give thanks.

Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM), the nodal agency of the Government of Kerala for entrepreneurship development and incubation activities in the state, will manage and operate the facility.

Decision reserved on the petition of Sri Padmanabha Swamy Temple Trust, the petition has been filed for exemption from the audit.

The Supreme Court has reserved its decision on Friday after hearing the petition of Sree Padmanabha Swamy Temple Trust.

The trust has applied against the order of the top court. The court had last year ordered an audit of 25 years of income and expenditure of the trust.

Justice UU Lalit, Justice S. A bench of Ravindra Bhat and Justice Bela Trivedi reserved the decision after hearing the arguments of both sides.

The trust was formed by the then Travancore royal family to manage the daily affairs of the temple in Thiruvananthapuram.

The top court had also constituted an administrative committee for the temple last year.

According to news agency Pretr, advocate R Basant, appearing for the same administrative committee, said that the financial condition of the temple is not good.

Monthly expenditure is 1.25 crores and income is only 60-70 lakhs. So the trust should help in meeting the expenses.

The trust’s lawyer Arvind Datar said that the public trust formed by the royal family has nothing to do with the administrative matters of the temple.

The trust was formed to oversee the worship and religious rituals associated with the royal family.
