Commander-level talks between India and China today between the escalation, MEA officials will also be included. The dialogue between India and China has resumed reducing the ongoing tension along the Line of Actual Control.
The sixth round of high-level talks between the two countries is going to be held in Moldo on the Chinese side today. According to the information, during the talks at the Corps Commander level, for the first time, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of External Affairs Naveen Srivastava will also attend.
The Core Commander- level officials are meeting after more than a month between the two sides. The Indian side will be led by 14 Corps Lieutenant General Harinder Singh, while the Chinese will be represented by PLA Major General Lin Liu.
Apart from Lieutenant General Harinder Singh, Major General Abhijeet Bapat, Major General Padam Shekhawat, Deepak Seth will be present in the Indian delegation. The situation has been cleared from the Indian side that they will not retreat even an inch and will not leave their land.
This is the first meeting between the troops of India and China on the border after the recent firing incidents.
The first incident occurred when the Indian Army thwarted the Chinese attempt to capture the heights near the southern bank of Pangong Lake between 29–31 August, while the second incident occurred near Mukhpari on 7 September.
Army sources said the third incident occurred on 8 September near the northern bank of Pangong Lake. During this period, troops from both sides fired more than 100 rounds of aerial firing. During this time the Chinese army was acting very aggressively.
