Counter-terrorist Operations Will Continue In Kashmir

Counter-terrorist operations will continue in Kashmir. Campaign to make Amarnath Yatra safe, 171 days, 70 encounters, and 118 terrorists killed.

Counter-terrorist operations will continue from the hills of Pir Panjal in the south to the Line of Control (LoC) in north Kashmir to keep the pilgrimage of Shri Amarnath completely safe.

Domestic and foreign terrorists and their overground worker networks are being identified. Their hideouts are being continuously raided.

So far this year, 118 terrorists have been killed in 171 days. Of these, 33 are foreign terrorists, the rest are local. During the same period last year, 52 terrorists were killed.

In the current year so far 70 encounters have taken place between security forces and terrorists. A maximum of 44 encounters have taken place in South Kashmir.

Kashmir IGP Vijay Kumar said that a special strategy has been adopted to keep the Shri Amarnath Yatra completely away from the terror threat.

Along with improving the security arrangements, terrorists are being attacked. Anti-terrorist operations are being conducted across Kashmir.

Everywhere pressure is being built on terrorists and their overground worker network. So far this year, 118 terrorists have been killed.

The killing of foreign terrorists will also affect the number of local terrorists. If foreign terrorists are fewer, then the number of local terrorists will also decrease.

District wise so many encounters.

A senior state police officer said that out of the maximum number of encounters this year, 44 encounters have taken place in four districts of South Kashmir – Pulwama, Kulgam, Shopian, and Anantnag.

There have been 13 encounters in three districts of Srinagar, Budgam, and Ganderbal in central Kashmir and 13 in Baramulla, Bandipora, and Kupwara in the north Kashmir.

There have been 14 encounters in Pulwama, 11 each in Shopian and Kulgam, and seven in Anantnag.

There have been four encounters in Baramulla, seven in Kupwara and two in Bandipora, 10 in Srinagar, two in Budgam, and only once in district Ganderbal.

Terrorists can commit any incident.

According to the police, terrorists do not necessarily attack devotees only to spoil the atmosphere during the pilgrimage, they can carry out any sensational incident at any place in the plaintiff.

Therefore, vigilance has been increased in the entire plaintiff. Special operations have been conducted in all the areas along the LoC in North Kashmir.

Special checkpoints are being put up on the mountainous roads used by active terrorists to go to South Kashmir.

Apart from this, the guides of terrorists are also being tracked and their activities are being monitored.
