Court Has Rejected A Closure Report Filed By CBI

Court has rejected a closure report filed by CBI. CBI also filed a closure report, now the investigation will happen again.

The court has rejected CBI’s closure report in the matter of issuing a construction license to common people on the land of the military area.

Along with this, the court has directed the CBI and Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) to re-investigate the case and take action on responsible officials.

Special Judge Srinagar MS Parihar has asked to examine the role of officials of the Cantonment Board Srinagar and Defense Estate Office Srinagar in this case.

It has been asked to find out how they allowed private people to construct on government and military land.

According to the case filed in the court, it was informed that Tariq Ahmed, a junior engineer from Srinagar posted at Cantonment Board Badami Bagh.

He along with some other officials issued licenses to private people on military land under the Cantonment Board in Srinagar to do construction work.

On the basis of these licenses, Hotel Solomon was built on military land. 

The hotel was built by Pulwama resident Tariq Ahmed Wani. In addition, Tramboo Joint Mills have been constructed. CBI had submitted a closure report in the court, saying there was no concrete evidence in the case.

This report has been turned down by the court. The court has sent the CBI report to its head branch chief and Anti-Corruption Bureau, Srinagar, and directed it to investigate afresh in the case.

Run a two-hour search operation on the news of being a terrorist

A search operation was conducted for two hours on the news of the terrorist in Hadiyal Mohalla of the city, but nothing was found.

Late Tuesday evening, a rumor spread that an unknown person tried to snatch a gun from a CRPF jawan, but the jawan confronted and the gun snatcher has gone missing somewhere.

After this, the army, security forces, and police surrounded the whole area and started a joint search operation. During this time, two youths were also taken into custody.

The interrogation of both of them continued for a long time and later the result was that both of them were going towards their house in Ghurian.

Suddenly a young man slipped his feet on the ice and he fell on the CRPF jawan on duty there.

The CRPF jawan then understood that he was trying to snatch his gun. He tried to catch him, but due to the darkness, the young man hid somewhere.

He was drunk when he was caught after a search operation. The police investigated him and then handed him over to his family.

DSP Head Quarter Devendra Singh Bandral said that when we got the information, we immediately surrounded the area, but when the two youth came into our custody, the whole reality came to light during their interrogation.

After that, the whole matter was settled and the army, police, and security forces went back.
