Police used Face Recognition Software (FRS) system along with an analysis of mobile and CCTV footage to nab the accused.

As the procession passed through C-Block of Jahangirpuri, a scuffle broke out, and soon stone-pelting started. Some policemen and a resident were injured in the incident.
Some vehicles were also set on fire. The case was registered by the local police and it was later transferred to the Crime Branch.
Significantly, during the riots in North-East Delhi in February 2020, more than 50 people were killed and many were injured.
45 handguns found from the couple at IGI Airport, smuggled from Vietnam, created a stir
On Wednesday, something was found at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in the capital, which surprised even the customs officials.
Customs officers found 45 handguns from an Indian husband and wife at IGI. After which both have been arrested.
At the same time, according to the information received from customs officials, preliminary information about handgun smuggling was received from NSG.
The couple at Airport was being intensively investigated and during this time a large number of weapons were recovered from both the accused.
According to the information, these handguns have been found by a husband and wife who were coming from Vietnam to them.
The cost of these handguns is said to be around Rs 22 lakh.
The Custom Commissioner said that the accused have also confessed during interrogation that even before this they had smuggled 25 handguns to India, which cost about Rs 12 lakh.
He had kept these weapons in two trolley bags.
At the same time, the customs officials also informed that the NSG had also told that the accused had a large number of weapons. Also, the handguns available from them are fully functional.
