He said that the jawans of the force are ready to face any kind of challenge taking inspiration from their sacrifices. In the ongoing financial year, the force has killed 162 terrorists and Maoists.

Along with this, he said that the situation in Jammu and Kashmir is much better at this time and it is improving further.

The DG said that after the abrogation of Article 370, the force has fulfilled the responsibility of maintaining law and order with great patience and valor.

The campaign to establish lasting peace will continue.

The Director-General was addressing the jawans after inspecting the parade to mark the 83rd Raising Day of the Central Reserve Police Force at the Maulana Azad (MA) Stadium in Jammu.

On Wednesday, other events took place along with the DG Parade. Now on March 19, Home Minister Amit Shah will participate in the main program of Foundation Day.

For this, he will reach Jammu on 18 only.

Referring to the anti-militancy operation in Jammu and Kashmir, the Director-General said that the Central Reserve Police Force has played a major role in killing hundreds of dreaded terrorists and foiled several suicide attacks.

He said that after the abrogation of 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, the role of CRPF was also appreciated by the Central and State Governments.

He said that the Central Reserve Police Force is attacking terrorism. In the ongoing financial year, the Central Reserve Police Force killed 162 terrorists, Maoists.

During this, the security forces recovered 425 arms, 13000 ammunition, 1400 kg of explosives, more than 225 grenades.

More than 125 bombs, more than 625 IDs, more than 2400 detonators, and 5336 gelatin rods from the terrorists. Along with this, Rs 3.7 crore was also recovered from them.

Remembering 2340 sacrifices: The Director-General said that the Central Reserve Police Force is grateful to its 2340 sacrificers who died in the country.

The first attack of China on the country was faced by the soldiers of the force in the Hat Spring area of ​​Ladakh.

10 soldiers were sacrificed while fighting the Chinese soldiers. In its memory, it is celebrated as Police Commemoration Day.

At the same time, on April 9, 1965, two companies of the force thwarted the attack of Pakistani infantry on Sardar Post in Rann of Kutch, Gujarat. This day is celebrated as Shaurya Diwas.

The force is being modernized: DG said that this year, 12 soldiers made sacrifices while fighting terrorism and 159 were injured while fighting.

The force has so far received 2309 gallantry medals. In the ongoing financial year, the force got the maximum number of 272 medals, including four Kirti and nine Shaurya Chakras.

The force is constantly being modernized to counter-terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir.

For the safety of the jawans, medium bulletproof vehicles with light bulletproof have been provided. Along with this, there are also modern weapons.
