The actor, Lu Min, is one of the six celebrities who were declared wanted by the Army on Wednesday under the anti-incitement law. These charges can carry a prison sentence of two years.

Lu Min has participated in several protests in Yangon. His wife, Khin Sabai Oo, said in a video posted on her Facebook page that police had come to her home in Yangon and took her husband.

The wife said that they forcibly opened the door and took them away and did not even tell where they were taking them. She could not stop him.

Military spokesman Jha Min Min Tun said at a news conference on Tuesday that the army was taking action under the constitution. It is supported by most people.

He blamed the protesters for inciting violence. The support group for political prisoners said on Saturday that 569 people have been arrested so far in connection with the coup.
