Kashmir Security: The Security Cycle In Kashmir Will Be Stronger

Kashmir Security: The security cycle in Kashmir will be stronger, drones will monitor the situation.

The security forces will now work on a new strategy against terrorists, separatists, and their supporters who are plotting to spoil the situation in Kashmir.

Suspicious elements will be investigated through surprise siege in all sensitive and crowded areas. Not only Srinagar, special points and check posts will be established on all major cities, towns, highways of Kashmir.

The drone will monitor the situation. Quick action will be taken as soon as there is an indication of an unwanted element or activity.

This strategy has been decided in Kashmir in a high-level security meeting chaired by Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir Vijay Kumar on Saturday.

Significantly, there has been a spurt in terrorist activities in the Valley in a few days which are fatal for the tourist season and normal conditions starting in Kashmir.

Vijay Kumar reviewed the internal security arrangements in the meeting. Taking stock of the shortcomings in the current security cycle, measures to remove them were discussed.

IG CRPF Charu Sinha, DIG Police Amit Kumar, DIG CRPF, DIG SSB, SSP Srinagar and CRPF, and other security agencies were present in the two-hour meeting.

Officials mentioned measures: Kashmir Security.

Measures to make Srinagar completely safe and to control the growing activities of terrorists were discussed.

On the apprehension of a major incident during the tourist season, the officials concerned also suggested measures to deal with it.

It has been decided to put CCTV in the identified places with a fresh review of the security cycle of Srinagar and surrounding areas to improve it further, increasing patrolling at all important dignitaries and tourist places.

Coordination between all security agencies: Kashmir Security.

The IGP stressed extensive coordination and exchange of necessary information among all security agencies. He said that terrorists and their supporters should not be given a chance to spoil the situation.

Therefore it is better to conduct surprise searches in all the crowded areas by surprise siege. Security checkpoints and checkpoints on important roads should be maintained.

In case of a terrorist attack at any place, there should be an immediate blockade. There should be a system of monitoring of low-lying areas from all tall buildings.

The drone should be fully utilized. He directed the terrorists, separatists, and people associated with them to monitor their activities continuously.

He said that the rumor detectors should be taken against them under the relevant law. Identify naughty elements active on the internet media.

All SSP and other concerned officers should expedite counterterrorism operations in their area.
