- Yogurt (curd) – 1/2 cup
- Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
- Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tbsp
- Red chili powder, one teaspoon (adjust to taste)
- Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
- Garam masala – 1 tsp
- Cumin powder – 1 tsp
- Coriander powder – 1 tsp
- Salt – to taste
- Mustard oil (or olive oil) – 2 tbsp
Freshly chopped coriander leaves – 2 tbsp
Steps for Marination:
- Mix yogurt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, and all the spices (red chili powder, turmeric, garam masala, cumin, coriander, and salt) in a large bowl.
- Before putting the chicken pieces in the bowl, make sure they are completely covered in the marinade.
- For optimal flavor, cover and chill for at least two hours, ideally overnight

Steps to Grill Chicken on a Gas Stove:
