‘Separatism ends from Jammu and Kashmir’, Amit Shah’s statement on the split in Hurriyat; said – this is the victory of Modi’s dream. Two factions of Hurriyat in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K People’s Movement and Democratic Political Movement) have broken ties with separatism. On this, Union Home Minister Amit Shah wrote on his social media handle X that I welcome this. Amit Shah said that separatism in Kashmir has become history.
The integration policies of the Modi government have ended separatism from Jammu and Kashmir. Two organizations associated with Hurriyat have announced that to will break all ties with separatism. I welcome this step towards strengthening the unity of India and urge all such groups to come forward and end separatism forever. Home Minister Amit Shah said that this is a big victory of Prime Minister Modi’s dream of building a developed, peaceful, and integrated India.
Amid the winds of change blowing in Kashmir, on Monday, another hardline Separatist Advocate Mohammad Shafi Reshi, announced breaking ties with the Hurriyat Conference and Democratic Political Movement (DPM). Expressing faith in the sovereignty and integrity of India, he said that I have no connection with any political party, especially any separatist organization which directly or indirectly supports the independence of Kashmir or separation of Kashmir from India.
Let us tell you that advocate Reshi has been considered one of the prominent leaders of the Hurriyat Conference led by hardline Syed Ali Shah Geelani. He has also been the president of DPM. Reshi told the media in a telephone call late on Monday night that I have no connection with Hurriyat Conference or DPM or any other separatist organization. I have already resigned from DPM. I have been keeping myself away from separatist activities for seven years because I had understood the reality of Hurriyat and other similar parties.
