Ganesha Statues Are Not Allowed In Any Lake In Ramanagara

Ganesha statues on the occasion of Ganeshotsava are not allowed in any lake, pier, or Kalyani. Instead, it should be arranged in such a way that it can be discharged on the spot, Ramanagara Superintendent of Police said.

Corona has been a hindrance to this time-honored festival. Due to this, silkenagari is restricted to a lavish Ganeshotsava in Ramanagar district. The Superintendent of Police Anoop A. Shetty of the district has issued a strict order for this time honoring festival in Ramanagar district.

There is no provision for any celebration programs in the district. If the installation of Ganesha statues in public is mandatory, permission must be obtained from the concerned departments. The SP said that Corona regulations should be followed.

Speaking to one of the leading news channels, Superintendent of Police, Anoop A. Shetty gave some guidelines to the public regarding the festival. Only 2 feet, 4 feet Ganesha statues should be installed in the house. In addition, do not sit for more days. There should be no more than 20 people in place.

He said that the Prasad packet should be arranged even if given. Also mask, sanitizer, social intercourse. The programmers are mandated to obtain mandatory permission from the concerned police station, municipality, taluk office, and fire brigade office.

SP Anoop A Shetty has appealed to the people to make a simple celebration of Lord Ganesha’s celebration in Ramanagar this time. They have also warned that if there are cases of violations of government regulations, strict legal action will be taken against those involved.
