Gang of LeT terrorists busted in Budgam, five arrested – ammunition recovered: Jammu Kashmir.

On Monday, the police got a huge success against the terrorists. Police have busted the gang of the Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist organization and arrested five terrorists.

Arms and ammunition have also been recovered from their possession.

According to the information, the police got information about five terrorists working for Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist organization in Budgam.

After this, Police took action and arrested five terrorists with the help of 53 RR of Army and 43rd Battalion of CRPF.

A huge cache of ammunition, a China-made pistol, a magazine, and eight pistol rounds were recovered from their possession.

Taking action first, the police arrested Mohammad Yunus Mir, a terrorist of Lashkar, a resident of Choon Budgam.

During his rigorous interrogation, four other terrorists belonging to the Lashkar organization were also arrested.

They have been identified as Imran Zuhur Ganai resident of Kulbagh Budgam, Umar Farooq Wani resident of Ompora Budgam.

Faizan Qom Ganai, and Shahnawaz Ahmed Mir resident of Choon Budgam. They used to cooperate in other ways including providing ammunition to the terrorists, giving them shelter.

During interrogation, these terrorists told that they were in constant touch with the terrorist masters sitting in Pakistan. They ordered expedite terrorist incidents in Kashmir.

A case has been registered against all of them at the Budgam police station and further action has been started.

A police investigation into last Friday’s firing incident in north Kashmir’s Gulgam.

Kupwara has uncovered a failed attempt by BJP workers to step up their security as well as “get more attention” from the party leadership.

At present, the police have arrested district Kupwara BJP unit chief Mohammad Shafi Mir along with his son and another BJP worker in this case.

While suspending Mohammad Shafi Mir, BJP has asked district in-charge, Anwar Khan, to take charge of BJP’s activities in Kupwara till further orders
