Germany Thrashed India In Women’s Hockey

Germany thrashed India in women’s hockey. 3rd consecutive defeat of the Indian women’s hockey team, Germany thrashed again.

The Indian women’s hockey team has once again suffered defeat in preparation for the Tokyo Olympics. Even the series of poor performances of the Indian women’s hockey team continues unabated.

On Tuesday, Germany beat the visiting team India badly for the third consecutive match. Germany defeated India 2–0 in the third match and pushed the visiting team to the backfoot with a 3–0 Ajay lead in the four-match series.

For Germany, Sonja Zimmerman scored in the 26th and Francesca Hawke scored in the 42nd minute. The hosts could not make up the rhythm in the beginning and their penalty corner went in vain in the first quarter.

The Indian defense played brilliantly in the first 15 minutes.

Germany also got a penalty corner at the start of the second quarter, but could not score a goal. The first goal for Germany was scored by Zimmermann in the 26th minute.

Hawke doubled Germany’s lead in the third quarter. At the same time, the Indian team did get opportunities to score goals, but could not get success.

Now the fourth and last match of the series will be played on Thursday 4 March. In the last match, the Indian team would like to win at least the honor by winning the match, but it will be difficult for the Indian team to win the last match given the strength of the hosts.

Germany stopped the Indian hockey team in the draw.

The Indian men’s hockey team, which recorded a convincing win in the first match, was held to a 1–1 draw by Germany on Tuesday.

Jarmanpreet Singh scored in the 14th minute for India. Germany’s Martin Haner scored an equalizer in the 29th minute.

After that, both teams performed defensive hockey and could not score a goal. The Indian men’s hockey team is doing well in Germany.

After the first half, the team came away with a changed form and Portu took advantage of fewer players in the defense to give Real Sociedad an edge in the 55th minute.
