The grenade, thrown by the terrorists, did not hit the target and fell on the other side of the road and exploded. Around three local people were injured after being hit by the grenade.
After the explosion, there was chaos in the market. People started shouting. Taking advantage of the opportunity, the attackers managed to escape from there.
Meanwhile, the security forces picked up the injured local people and immediately rushed them to the nearest hospital. He is undergoing treatment.
Meanwhile, SOG, Army, and CRPF personnel, who reached the spot as soon as the information was received, have started cordoning off the areas around Rajpura Chowk.
After the siege, the search for terrorists will be started in the area. At the same time, the police said that they are also scanning the footage of CCTV cameras installed in the market.
Once the attackers are identified, they will be arrested. At the same time, two of the three people injured in the attack have been identified.
