Gujarat government has implemented a new IT policy, one lakh people will get jobs: Gujarat IT Policy.
Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has announced the new IT policy of the state. This policy will be in force from 2022 to 2027.
The government has set a target of taking Gujarat’s IT exports from 3000 crores to 25,000 crores. This will create one lakh new jobs.
In a function organized on Gujarat International Finance Saver Technology City GIFT, CM Bhupendra Patel has also announced Rs 100 crore assistance to infrastructure and developers for developing world-class IT townships in the state.
The government has laid special emphasis on developing information technology, IT exports, IT services, and IT infrastructure in Gujarat.
An appeal has been made to the young entrepreneurs and investors to create an environment of the IT industry in the state and come forward for skill development.
The Chief Minister has also talked about the coming together of the government and technology companies for the development of the information technology ecosystem in the state.
Special emphasis on innovation center and emerging technology in the state.
The Chief Minister said that the share of Gujarat in IT exports is 3000 crores, which has been targeted to increase to 25000 crores. Gujarat has great potential in IT sector exports.
The government has given its priority to include the state among the top five such states. Special emphasis will be laid on the innovation centers and emerging technology in the state.
Companies registered in Gujarat and having their headquarters in Gujarat will be given huge relief financially and in taxes.
The government has announced financial assistance up to 50 percent of salary and 25 percent of investment for creating jobs for companies operating with 10 employees and above and giving jobs to youth.
For mega projects, this limit will be Rs 200 crore.
Apart from this, the government will also help in paying interest at the rate of seven percent on Tarun loans up to Rs 5 crore. There will also be a complete exemption in electricity duty.
The Chief Minister said that the IT policy would play a big role in fulfilling the resolve of unemployed free employment in India, one of the eight dreams of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Exports will increase in the IT sector.
Education Minister Jitubhai Bagani said that the annual export of Rs 3000 crore in the IT and IT sector in Gujarat has to be increased to Rs 25000 crore.
In the future, 100000 new jobs will be created in this sector. Apart from this, Gujarat will also top in the availability of IT infrastructure, data center emerging technology, and innovation center.
IT industry will get momentum.
Vishal Shah, co-founder, and CEO, Synersoft Technology Company, believes that the new IT policy of the government will give impetus to the IT industry of Gujarat.
To encourage investment in hardware and software, the government has announced a bonus of up to 25 percent.
Apart from this, the government will also provide direct financial help for operating companies and hiring professionals.
With this, young entrepreneurs in the state will have the courage to start new startups. The new IT policy of the Government of Gujarat will prove to be job-oriented and to increase startup-supported IT exports.
This will provide a lot of convenience and financial help to small and medium-scale IT companies.
In the first phase of development of the IT sector, this enterprise grew rapidly in Bangalore, Mumbai, and Noida.
But now with the implementation of this policy of the government in Gujarat, Ahmedabad and other cities in Gandhinagar will play a big role in the IT sector.
