The hearing was held on Monday on the application filed in the court of Civil Judge (Senior Division) by Ravi Kumar Diwakar on behalf of the Anjuman Inazaniya Masajid Committee.

The application was filed to replace the Advocate Commissioner, who was conducting the commission proceedings in the Gyanvapi campus, which became the subject of discussion across the country.

During the hearing which lasted for about an hour, the advocates of the plaintiffs and the Advocate Commissioner Ajay Kumar Mishra have termed the allegations of the advocates of the Anjuman Inazaniya Masajid Committee as baseless.

At the same time, former Mahant Vice-Chancellor Tiwari has given further impetus to the discussions by saying that Baba Vishwanath’s Shivling was seen on the premises before 1992.
