People should follow the orders of the Supreme Court regarding loudspeakers: Karnataka CM on Loudspeaker Row.

At the same time, Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said that the state government will ensure amicable implementation of the Supreme Court order on the use of loudspeakers in public places.

The then state government had also issued an order in this regard in 2002. Action will be taken to implement the court order amicably.

He further said that the Central Government has issued an order as per the recommendations of the Central Pollution Control Board.

The order clearly states the location and decibel level for the use of loudspeakers in public places.

People should follow the orders: Guidelines will be issued.

Bommai further informed that the Karnataka government had issued an order to implement this order in the year 2022.

We have decided to implement the orders of the Supreme Court, and Central and State Governments in this regard.

On the instructions to implement the order, he said, “The responsibility of implementing the order rests with the police officers of the rank of Deputy SP in their respective areas.”

Suitable guidelines will be issued for the implementation of the order.

Bommai has appealed to the people not to take the law into their hands. “No one should take the law into their own hands,” he said.
