India Agreed On Complete Disarmament Of Nuclear Weapons

India agreed on complete disarmament of nuclear weapons, UNGA reiterates its commitment. In the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) meeting, India has agreed to the disarmament of nuclear weapons.

On the International Day for the Total Elimination of Nuclear Weapons, Foreign Secretary Harshvardhan Shringla said that India reiterates its long-standing and unwavering commitment to non-discriminatory nuclear disarmament.

Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla said that India as the world’s single multilateral disarmament forum gives high priority to the Convention on Disarmament and supports the commencement of negotiations on a comprehensive nuclear weapons conference.

He said India reiterates its long-standing and unwavering commitment to universal and non-discriminatory nuclear disarmament, leading to the complete elimination of nuclear weapons.

Harsh Shringla said that India follows a ‘no first use’ policy regarding nuclear weapons. India attaches great priority to the Conference on Disarmament as being the forum for the only multilateral disarmament agreement and supports the Agreement on Detailed Nuclear Weapons Convention.

Balochistan raised voice in UN, said- Culture, language, and identity of Baloch people are in danger in Pakistan

Due to the oppressive policies of Pakistan, the culture, language, and identity of the Baloch people are in danger. This was stated by Blair Voice Association President Munir Mengal at the United Nations on Thursday.

He said that on one hand, the Baloch are facing displacement due to military operations, on the other hand, they have been denied their culture and traditions. Gradually, he is losing his identity.

Citing a Dawn News report, Mengal said that out of 36 lakh school-going children in Balochistan, 23 lakh have not seen the school’s face till date. Also, out of more than 13 thousand schools located in the area, nine thousand do not have potable water and toilets.

He quoted the Baloch People’s Congress as saying that the conspiracy to separate the Baloch from their identity is at the peak. Prime Minister Imran Khan announced a package and named the region as ‘Southern Balochistan’.
