99 new cases of corona surfaced in India.

On Friday, the Union Health Ministry presented new figures for Corona. India has registered 99 new coronavirus infections as per the updated corona data.

While the active cases of Covid have come down to 1 thousand 896. The number of Covid cases has been recorded at 4.46 crore (4,46,82,437).

The death toll has reached 530,739 with one death in Maharashtra, said the data updated at 8 am.

Corona infection recovery rate increased.

The daily infection rate of the corona has been recorded at 0.10 percent. While the weekly positivity rate was estimated at 0.08 percent.

The Union Health Ministry said that active cases of corona now comprise 0.01 percent of the total infections. While the national COVID-19 recovery rate has increased to 98.81 percent.

The Health Ministry also informed that a decrease of 10 cases has been registered in the active COVID-19 cases in a span of 24 hours.

So there has been an increase in the number of people getting cured of the disease. While the case fatality charge became recorded at 1.19 percent.

220.36 crore corona vaccines have been administered.

According to the website of the Union Health Ministry, 220.36 crore doses of the covid vaccine have been given so far in the country under the nationwide vaccination campaign.

India’s COVID-19 tally crossed 20 lacks on August 7, 2020, 30 lacks on August 23, 40 lacks on September 5, and 50 lacks on September 16.

The country crossed the grim milestone of four crores on January 25 last year.
