India Successfully Tests ERASR: Boosts Naval Firepower

India Successfully Tests ERASR: India tests the indigenous ERASR anti-submarine system from INS Kavaratti. The dual-motor rockets boost naval precision. 17 units tested successfully. India Successfully Tests Indigenous Anti-Submarine Rocket System. India has successfully carried out trials of the Extended Range Anti-Submarine Rocket (ERASR) system from the warship INS Kavaratti. Developed indigenously, the ERASR system enhances the Indian Navy’s combat capabilities with improved precision through its dual-rocket motor design. Between June 23 and July 7, a total of 17 rockets were tested. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh praised DRDO, the Navy, and industry collaborators for this significant achievement.
