Iran Violates The Nuclear Deal, Captures South Korea’s Tanker

Iran violates the nuclear deal, captures South Korea’s tanker.

Iran took a double challenge to the Western world on Monday, taking advantage of the remaining few days of President Donald Trump’s term in the White House.

On Dunke’s injury, while speeding up its nuclear program, Iran started enrolling (enriched) uranium 20 percent while forcibly taking possession of the cargo ship of South Korea.

Iran violates the nuclear deal: Iran is understood to have taken this step to lift restrictions on its accounts in Korean banks.

According to the information, Iran has started enriching uranium up to 20% purity in its underground Fordo nuclear plant. The move by Tehran is considered to be the biggest violation of the international nuclear deal.

To make a nuclear bomb, uranium has to be purified by 90 percent. But under the 2015 nuclear deal, Iran can promote uranium by only four percent.

US President Donald Trump imposed strict restrictions on Iran excluding the US from the nuclear deal.

On Monday, state news agency Iran quoted spokesperson Ali Rabai as saying that uranium enrichment at the Ford nuclear plant has begun after President Hassan Rouhani’s order.

On January 1, the United Nations International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the UN body that monitors nuclear affairs, said that Tehran has told it that it plans to increase uranium by 20 percent in its ford.

However, he did not say when he would start.

According to another news, Iran’s Security Forces National Revolutionary Guards captured South Korea’s tanker Hankook Kemi near the coast of Oman. 72 thousand tons of ethanol is loaded on the ship.

A 20-member crew aboard the ship charged with causing pollution in the sea has also been taken into custody. The crew includes citizens of South Korea, Vietnam, and Myanmar.

Iran took this action a few days before the Foreign Minister of South Korea visited Tehran. Many news channels of Iran have shown this news.

Iran is understood to have dared to protest against the freeze of its accounts in South Korean banks. D. Korea has kept Iran’s accounts under pressure from the US.

Iran has about seven billion dollars in these accounts. The fifth fleet of the US Navy based in Bahrain is monitoring this development.
