ISRO launched sounding rocket RH-60, to study neutral wind and plasma dynamics.

Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has launched the sounding rocket RH-60 from the Satish Dhawan Space Center (SDSC), Sriharikota Range (SHAR).

ISRO will study behavioral differences in neutral wind and plasma dynamics from this rocket launch. ISRO gave its information by tweeting its official account.

ISRO wrote- ‘Sounding Rocket (RH-560) was launched today to study neutral winds (neutral wind) and attitudinal variations in plasma dynamics in the Sriharikota Range (SHAR).’

According to ISRO, there are one or two-stage solid rockets used for the investigation of upper atmospheric fields and for space research. Also easily serve as affordable platforms for testing or proving prototypes.

ISRO started launching indigenously manufactured rockets in 1965 and since then has become much more adept with experience in solid propellant technology.
