With Abid’s wicket, Anderson’s wicket tally increased to 599 and now he is just one wicket away from 600 Test wickets. So far, only three bowlers from Sri Lanka’s Muttiah Muralitharan (800), Australia’s Shane Warne (708) and India’s Anil Kumble (619) have managed to take 600 wickets in Test cricket.
