Jammu tunnel collapse: Part of the tunnel under construction on Ramban National Highway collapsed. Around 10 workers were buried under debris, and rescue work was underway.

A part of an under-construction chalk lane tunnel collapsed on Khooni Nala of the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in the Meerkot area of ​​Ramban in Jammu and Kashmir.

Many people are feared trapped in the tunnel. The Deputy Commissioner of Ramban said that 10 people are getting information about being trapped in this accident. So far one person has been rescued.

The rescue operation is on. Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh inquired about the spot and said ‘I am constantly in touch with DC. Around 10 laborers were buried under the debris.

The other 2 were rescued and hospitalized with injuries. Rescue work continues. Civil administration and police officials are monitoring the situation.

Jammu tunnel collapse: Giving information, the officials said that a joint rescue operation has been launched immediately by the police and the army.

It is being told that this part of the tunnel collapsed during the audit. Giving further information, the officials said that there are people from the company working on the tunnel audit.

Several machines and vehicles, including bulldozers and trucks parked in front of the tunnel, were damaged, officials said.

According to officials, Ramban Deputy Commissioner Massaratul Islam and Senior Superintendent of Police Mohita Sharma are at the spot and supervised the rescue operation.

3 laborers were rescued, 10 are still trapped, and rescue work is underway.

A major part of the T-3 tunnel under construction in the Makkarkot area near Khooni Nala suddenly collapsed on the Jammu-Srinagar highway in the Ramban on Thursday night.

10 workers working inside the tunnel got trapped due to the accident.

Four to five vehicles including a dumper vehicle and several machines are also feared to be buried under the debris.

Police said that three laborers were rescued during the rescue work that continued throughout the night. The condition of all three remains critical.

He has been admitted to Ramban Hospital. The rescue work is still on. Five to seven laborers are still feared trapped in the tunnel.

Official sources say that the construction of the editing tunnel has started a few days ago. The tunnel was built only two to three meters.

In such a situation, the chances of survival of those missing due to being buried in the rubble are being expressed less.
