JKDGP: There Is No Terrorist Threat On The Amarnath Yatra

JKDGP: There is no terrorist threat on the Amarnath Yatra, the plan for the deployment of security forces is being prepared.

Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbag Singh said that there is no threat to the upcoming Amarnath Yatra, but sticky bombs (bombs with magnets that can be attached to vehicles) will prove to be a challenge for the security forces.

Director General of Police Dilbag Singh said that the Jammu Police has prepared for the annual Amarnath Yatra.

During the visit, preparations for what kind of security arrangements will be made in national highways, langars, and base camps are in the final stages.

JKDGP Dilbag Singh, who came to participate in an event in Sunjwa area of ​​Jammu, told reporters that JKP has a lot of experience that some kind of security arrangements have to be made in the Amarnath Yatra.

The Jammu and Kashmir Police along with other security agencies are working to carry out this year’s yatra in a peaceful manner.

Dilbag Singh denied any terrorist threat on the Amarnath Yatra. He said that Aman enemy forces, including our neighbor Mulakh, have been trying to spread unrest in Jammu and Kashmir by using new methods every day.

Regarding the exercise to bring back the youth going on the path of terror, the Director General of Police said that in the last three years, a dozen youths were saved by the police from becoming terrorists.

This year continues this process of Pulasi. Jammu police is working to save the youth from destruction. The youth are also realizing that nothing can be gained from terrorism.

The youth thank the police and security forces after returning to the mainstream. The DGP said that the security forces now ask the terrorists to surrender with the help of their family during the encounter.

JKDGP: More than a dozen youth surrendered during the encounter last year.

The police is carrying out a campaign to wipe out the terrorists. Ghani Khwaja, the top commander of North Kashmir, Sajjad Afghani, the commander of Jaish was killed.

After arresting Lashkar-e-Mustafa commander Hidayatu-Ulla, another commander Nazir has been arrested.

This year, around 12 terrorists have been killed and close to three dozen terrorists and their helpers have been apprehended.
