Joint Security Operation: Assam Rifles issued a press release on Wednesday giving information about this.

A team of more than 100 security personnel occupied the sensitive areas of Guwakhal and Harinagar in Manipur on Wednesday morning after miscreants tried to burn down a vacant house in the area.

River patrolling and drones are also being used extensively to secure and occupy the affected areas of Jiribam.

Local people praised the security forces.

The security forces are constantly interacting with local leaders and various CSOs (civil society organizations) to ensure the return of displaced people to their homes.

Locals have appreciated the efforts of the security forces to restore peace and normalcy in the area, Assam, a neighbor, has collaborated with the Manipur state police to hinder and prohibit criminal activity from occurring from Cachar to Jiribam.
