According to the state health bulletin yesterday, 25,311 new cases of infection have been reported in Karnataka in the last 24 hours.

At the same time, 57,333 people have been discharged from the hospital after recovering from Corona, and 529 deaths have been recorded.

The state currently has 4,40,435 active cases. The state is also seeing an increase in cases of black fungus.

State Health and Medical Education Minister K Sudhakar said yesterday that 446 cases of black fungus infection have been reported so far in Karnataka and 12 people have died.

Subsequently, Union Chemicals and Fertilizers Minister DV Sadananda Gowda announced that 1,030 additional vials of Amphotericin-B, a drug used to treat black fungus, have been allocated to Karnataka

Gowda posted on Twitter and gave information about the allocation of drugs. Three days ago, the Karnataka government extended the lockdown to 6 am on 7 June to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
