After the first phase of the Kedarnath Yatra, the number of pilgrims increased significantly in the second phase of the Yatra. Every day between 8 to 11 thousand pilgrims visit Baba Kedar and take his blessings. This year, more than 12.60 lakh pilgrims have visited so far during the entire Yatra period. The Yatra halts are looking lively due to the increase in the number of pilgrims.

On May 10, the doors of Lord Kedarnath, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas, were opened for the common devotees to visit. After this, a flood of devotees started pouring into the Dham from the beginning of the Yatra. In such a situation, the number of pilgrims remained quite good for one and a half months, but after this, the number of pilgrims started decreasing.
