KL Rahul Has Been Ruled Out Of The Test Series Due To Injury

KL Rahul has been ruled out of the Test series due to injury. Before the third Test match, the Indian team got a big shock, KL Rahu was ruled out of the series.

The third match of the four-match Test series between India and Australia is scheduled to begin on January 7, but on January 5, Team India has suffered a major setback as wicketkeeper and opener KL Rahul.

KL Rahul has been ruled out of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy series due to injury. This information has been given by the Board of Control for Cricket in India, ie BCCI.

KL Rahul got hurt while batting in the nets at the MCG during Team India’s practice session on Saturday. KL Rahul has sprained his left wrist.

In such a situation, the wicketkeeper-batsman will have to be ruled out of the remaining two Tests of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy and will not be available for selection, as he will need around three weeks time to fully recover and regain full strength.

In a mail issued to the media by the BCCI, KL Rahul will now return to India and thereafter go to the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bangalore, where the rehabilitation of his injury will begin.

It is expected that KL Rahul will be fit before the three formats of the home format against England and will be available for selection. Recently Rohit Sharma and Ishant Sharma have also recovered from injury.

Players in Corona-influenced hotel to play BCCI T20 tournament from January 10.

In Chennai, 20 employees have been found corona positive at the hotel where the teams reached to play the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy are staying.
