LeT terrorist arrested for carrying out target killing in Baramulla, arms recovered: Target Killing.

Police claimed to have averted an incident of target killing by arresting a Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist in North Kashmir’s Baramulla on Tuesday.

Police spokesman said that today i.e. around 4 o’clock in the evening, police and 52 Rashtriya Rifles personnel of the army had put up a Naka in Juhama, Baramulla.

The Naka party started checking the vehicles and citizens passing by. Meanwhile, a suspicious youth was seen coming from the side of the Kansipora area.

LeT terrorist arrested: Seeing the Naka party, he turned back and tried to run away. The soldiers posted at the block saw him doing this.

They immediately followed him and caught him in no time. When he was searched, a pistol, a magazine, seven cartridges, and two grenades were found in his possession.

During interrogation, he has been identified as Shahid Ahmed Parre. He is a resident of Kathpora Hajin in Bandipore. He had entered Baramulla to carry out the incident of target killing but was caught.

Two youths, residents of Doda, have been detained for questioning in connection with the explosive material recovered by the Jhajjarkotli police on Wednesday.

However, senior police officers are not saying anything in this matter. Police say that the role of some suspicious people, in this case, is being investigated.

It is hoped that those who send the explosive material will be caught soon. So far, the police have questioned about a dozen people in this case.

According to the information received from the sources, during the interrogation of the driver and passengers of the bus coming from Doda to Jammu.

The names of some people came to the fore, who are suspected of keeping this packet inside the bus and escaped. Both the people are residents of district Doda.

After this, the police interrogated both these people and got information related to the case.

However, the police could not find any concrete evidence during the interrogation of both. In this case, the police have so far detained more than a dozen people for questions.
