Light Helicopter Mk-III Inducted Into INS Utkrosh

Light Helicopter Mk-III manufactured by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited inducted into INS Utkrosh.

Another strong step has been taken in view of the country’s maritime security. Indigenously built Light Helicopter (ALH) Mk-III has been formally inducted on INS Utkrosh.

The helicopter was formally inducted on Friday at Port Blair by Lt Gen Ajay Singh, Commander-in-Chief of the Andaman and Nicobar Command.

The ALH Mk-III helicopter is manufactured by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited. This helicopter manufacturing is being seen as a meaningful step under ‘Self-reliant India’.

At the same time, there is another giant leap of self-reliance in the field of military aviation.

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited gave hundreds of aircraft.

Let us tell you, so far more than 300 aircraft have been made by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited. being used by the armed forces.

Among the aircraft being used by the country’s military, the Mk III helicopter variant has been specially designed for the Indian Navy.

This helicopter is equipped with state-of-the-art sensors and weapons. Which is capable of making the enemy sweat on the country’s maritime borders.

ALH Mk III in various roles

The ALH Mk III aircraft with its glass cockpit, powerful engine, advanced maritime radar, electro-optical payload, and night vision devices will serve to protect India’s Far Eastern coast and island regions.

This state-of-the-art aircraft can be used for maritime surveillance, support for Special Forces, rescue operations, and many other roles.
